Mike McCabe is running for Mayor of the City of Westfield. He has worked for the Westfield Police Department in various capacities for 34 years and has lived in the Greater Westfield area since 1974. Mike graduated from Westfield State in 1984 with a B.S. in Criminology and a Masters in Criminal Justice in 1994. He is married to Jennipher McCabe and they have one daughter, Kate.
Throughout his career, Michael McCabe has been an active member of the Westfield Community He has been on the board for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Westfield as well as Baystate Noble Hospital. He also became a Charter Member of the Westfield Centennial Lions Club in 2017. As an avid runner himself he became a volunteer coach for the Westfield High School Cross Country team in 2014, and in the winter season found himself volunteering poolside for the Bombers Swimming and Diving Team.
Our Campaign Manager
Amy Tosi lives in Westfield with her husband Giancarlo, her two children, Claudia and Macauley and her Mini Australian Shepherd, Copper. Amy is a graduate of University of Massachusetts with a BA in Mass Communication. She spent five years on the sales force of Mars, Inc., and Bic Corporation before she decided to focus on raising her children while honing her craft as a musician and music educator. She is the lead vocalist of “Emotion,” as well as “Ric&Amy Acoustic,” and “Triple Play Trio,” a Portuguese American project that has brought her across the Eastern seaboard. Amy has balanced her family life with her career as a working musician for 19 years. She began her work at the YMCA of Greater Westfield 2007. After time in the membership and youth development departments, she is especially proud of the work she did as “Ms. Amy” in the preschool music program, and the music education program, as well as leading the American Classics Chorus. Amy left the Y in 2016 when her family was called to foster her two teenage nephews.
Always an advocate for the arts, and deeply committed to community development, Amy took a role on the Westfield Cultural Council, the local chapter of the Massachusetts Cultural Council in 2012 and was asked to become the council chair in 2014 where she remained until 2018. Her time served on the council coincided with her volunteerism at Westfield on Weekends, Inc. Amy joined the WOW board in 2016, and has served as the board Program Committee Chair, working on events such as the Cabaret series, MusicFest, and PumpkinFest. She currently works as the Programs Manager of Westfield Creative Arts, at the WOW headquarters at 105 Elm Street, developing class and workshop schedules in fine arts, fiber arts, crafts and interpretive sciences.
Mr. Jim Irwin has been a Westfield resident since 1991. Just eight years later, he established Commercial Scale and Balance in Agawam. He has three children, Tim, Steve, and Libby, and has been married to his wife Kathie for 39 years.
Our Volunteer Coordinator (pictured on the far right) is Mr. John Bowen. He has lived in Westfield since 2000 with his wife, Lori, and their three children, Mike, Matt, and Meghan.
John is and account manager for Integrated IT in Westfield. He is currently on the Westfield Planning Board and a member on the Westfield FC (Soccer) Board of Directors.
John enjoys spending his time running and has also coached the YMCA Couch to 5K group for the past 8 years. He also enjoys spending as much time as possible watching his kids in their various sporting events.
Our Social Media Director
Kate McCabe lives in Westfield and graduated from Westfield High School in 2016. Upon her graduation she had received membership from the National Honor Society and was President of the Tri-M musical society. She was also one of four Drum Majors for the High School Band Program and Captain of the Westfield High Swim Team. After graduating she was an office assistant at Andrea York Photography where she was fortunate enough to practice social media and business management.
Kate is currently enrolled at Fairfield University in Connecticut and is expected to graduate with a BS in Biology in May of 2020.
Our Graphic Designer
Mrs. Cain is a Westfield native who graduated from Westfield Public Schools. She left Westfield for a short period of time while her husband, Jerry, was deployed in the US Army. They returned in 1998 with their two daughters, Meghan and Hannah.
Liz has been a technical assistant at the Westfield Technical Academy in the Graphic Arts Department for 15 years.
